Mark Hamade

Mark Hamade is the Chief People Officer/Executive Vice President at The Masters University, a comprehensive hands-on sales training courses designed for sale professionals, sales managers and small business owners.  We pride ourselves on helping individuals to improve their performance, confidence and communication skills by applying proven methods that are taught throughout our curriculum.  After more than 14 years of leadership experience with top-tier companies, his mission is to spread the vision, mission, goals and objectives for human resources in collaboration with other officers to ensure that The Masters University recruits, maintains, develops, recognizes and rewards a high quality workforce that can manage ongoing change successfully while meeting the diverse needs of each of our community.

Hamade has extensive experience in the Principles and practices of building an organization that is highly client-focused and dedicated to HR activities; Principles of Effective leadership, HR P&L management, strategic advising, organizational design, behavior & architecture, solution identification, mergers & acquisitions, organizational performance, recruitment, social networking, start-ups, angel, private, and venture investing, retention, sales, consulting, compensation models, international experience, executive coaching, strategic alliances, contract negotiations, motivational speaking, applicable laws, rules, ordinances and regulations; Theories, principles and operational practices applicable to the area of assignment; Techniques for effectively representing any organization, including making effective presentations and dealing with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Perform Extensive administrative duties and policy interpretation related to the management within a division of related operational units and program areas.

Key responsibilities include developing division goals and objectives, managing staff through direct and subordinate managers and supervisors, developing policies and procedures related to division activities, developing and administering division budgets, conducting short and long range planning.

Track record includes making significant contributions to talent acquisition, people management processes and the development of a unified culture; work closely with the executive team to create an environment focused on talent development, succession planning and creating benchmarks for future leaders.

The focus, in his role as Chief People Officer, is to leverage company growth opportunities through fulfillment and management of the life-cycle that includes staff planning, development and deployment as well as administration of staff selection, retention and training. As part of the executive management team he will assess, coordinate, and implement HR practices and programs to facilitate growth as part of the overall strategic plan for the company. Evaluation of HR procedures, data management technologies, outsourcing opportunities and any merger and acquisition opportunities will be top priority.

• Hamade’s expertise spans working with Fortune 10 companies, 500, start-up, early and mid-stage companies.
• Top negotiator focused on improving company profitability; significantly reduced various long-term contracts including complex IT contracts
• Built, architected and implemented an IT infrastructure backbone utilizing a world class team;
architecting the “backbone” to be greener, have back-ups; negotiated 30% reduction to achieve delivery of a world-class infrastructure
• Achieved #2 ITO Sourcing Advisory Ranking
• Hired 94% of company staff; recruited 55+ employee staff members at a high level; candidates came from Fortune 10, 500 & 1000 Companies of Sony, Accenture, TPI and McKinsey; instrumental in the recruitment of full time, part time, and consultants.

Hamade is a passionate Lover & Helper of Start-Ups, Early-Stage, Fortune 500, Training, People, Human Capital, Capital, and Growing Companies! Hamade’s passion is to assist companies in finding capital and identifying and recommending companies in which to invest. He has an excellent network.  He has served in the Marine Corps Reserves. He is a graduate of Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, where he received a bachelor’s of science degree in criminal justice, and also completed course work for a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice.  Hamade is a member of the Human Capital Institute, Business Week Advisory Board, and Society for Human Resource Management, Main Street Angel, and the prestigious Madison Who’s who.   He has also served on numerous for profit and non-profit boards.  When he has free time he loves to play fantasy football, sail, exercise and travel the world.
